What Is Yellow Tea?
Yellow tea is a rare Chinese speciality. As the name itself indicates, yellow tea is genuinely yellow to gold and this applies to the tea leaves and the brew itself. The production of yellow tea is the same as the production of green tea. The tea leaves are dried in large pans. The tea leaves are covered with linen and left to ferment for seven days. As the chlorophyl in the leaves breaks down they obtain a very interesting and specific taste with a sweet honey aroma. In the end it is roasted. Yellow tea is always whole-leaf, which means that the tea leaves are not crushed or cut.

Yellow tea has similar effects to green tea. It has a beneficial effect on our health. It contains a large amount of anti-oxidants, which, inter alia, delay the aging of the organism, serve as prevention against cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, etc.
